Website development, 360 videos, App mobile, Social media strategy

Sautech Group was awarded the tender launched by the province of Matera for the creation of digital and multimedia promotion services for the “UNESCO SITES NETWORK” project. 

Presented by a partnership of 15 southern italian entities that have in their area one or more sites part of Unesco heritage, the project aims to spread the cultural heritage of southern Italy nationally and internationally, encouraging visits and promoting territorial economic operators

For Unesconet we have created the website, the promotional spot, the 360 virtual tours, the social media strategy and the mobile app.

Starting with the brand identity ideation, we have developed the project website

The site, designed in a mobile-first perspective and with a linear and essential design, is a window on Unesco destinations, commercial and cultural operators linked to them and local events

The platform strenght are the itineraries that are interactive maps which highlight neuralgic sites and the average travel times from one point of interest to another. A series of filter allows user to select the most suitable itinerary for his needs. 

The possibility of customizing the site contents intensifies in the user area where is given the opportunity to the members to create their own travel itineraries and descriptive cards of “heart places” present in Unesco destinations. 

The spot 

A promotional video has been written and created with testimonial Massimo Lopez where all the Unesco destinations participating in the project are presented. The video is visible on the site home page, on the associated app and on YouTube channel.

16 mini video dedicated to the individual destionations have been extracted from the video. 

360 virtual tours

In addition to the promotional mini-video, for each of the Unesco sites we have created a short spot accessible in virtual reality (VR) with standard market viewers that allows 360-degrees navigation of some sponsored territories highlights. 

360 virtual tours are made available to users within the web portal, in the Unesconet social channels, in the app and in the YouTube profile.   

Social media strategy

For increasing the project visibility an engaging and attractive social campaign has been planned. 

Social channels are constantly updated with textual and multimedia content that enhance the places, events and stories related to the territories where there is the Unesco heritage

Mobile app

Mobile App - Unesconet

We have developed an app that reproduces all site’s contents and funcionalities. 

Furthermore, through QR scanning tool, it allows you to immediately verify the users affiliation to the Unesconet network. Registered users have accesso to special offers dedicated to them and they can perform virtual check-ins at the hotel structures. 

The application has been created for Google Play Store and Apple Store.
