There are various expressive forms through which man’s creativity takes shape. And above all there are various means in its support.
Nowadays when we talk about means to support human ingenuity we can only refer to new digital and virtual technologies. The latter are now a vivid and present reality that no production field can ignore anymore. Indeed, the near future requires us to take full advantage of them to reach and overcome unknown limits.
Aware of the new skills that rapid technological advancement requires, for about three months now we have decided to undertake a truly sui generis training and learning path.
Sui generis because it’s not simply a succession of passive and perhaps pedantic lessons. On the contrary! It’s a concrete experimentation of the new technologies tools capabilities to transform what is only in our mind into reality.
The place where magic takes place is the center for digital craftsmanship in Cava de’ Tirreni.

The center for digital craftsmanship
The CAD (center for digital craftsmanship) is a real center of innovation and technological training, the ultimate aim of which is to help artisans and companies to innovate their technical background through the use of the latest digital means.
To do this, about two years ago, it decided to activate an ad-hoc path: 12 shops dedicated to companies in the artisanal and technological world determined not only to undertake a digital updating path, but also to share and highlight their know-how.
All in the splendid setting of a futuristic structure with completely open spaces. Opening, in fact, towards a new universe that can’t wait to be explored.

As proof of the fact that the path taken at CAD is not only learning, but also and above all, there are the shops for the exposition of the company’s core business.
These are fully explorable exhibition spaces: each ravine is the precious witness of the corporate identity.
Our shop, in particular, contains several samples of the world around us every day. Perhaps a complex world, perhaps not immediately assimilable, but certainly fascinating and interesting. Just takes a pinch more attention.
A sparkling inauguration
December 21 2019 is a date that we will hardly forget. It is the day of the official start of our path at CAD. A beginning marked by the inauguration of our exhibition space. An inauguration that did not miss anything!
From the gift of gadgets signed by Sautech Group (cell phone holder and cardboard in particular) to the exposure of some wonders representing our daily work.
Technological wonders not only to see but also to test! We have made an immersive virtual gaming station available to the most curious and enterprising. Venturing, climbing a mountain and feeling the chills of those who seem to do it for real: this is the feeling that our visitors have experienced.
And not only that: our story and our identity live on a very solid basis: industrial automation. Could we not bring this world to our glory day? Certainly not..
A fully functional little model of a logistics sorting plant: the power of automation in mini format. So we made the idea of what we do when we travel the world. But we will talk about this story another time ?
3D modeling
The inauguration of the shop was only the prelude. From there our dive into a particular branch began: 3D modeling.
The 3D drawing takes us back to the beginning of our article: creativity. The three-dimensional graphics, in fact, is the technology that more than any other is born with the exclusive purpose of supporting and enhancing the human flair.
Intuitive 3D modeling software now allow to create anything, with an eye to customization. It is, in fact, the possibility of creating unique and personal projects that makes this sector truly worthy of interest.
And talking of personalized objects: what could we do once we acquired the right skills? Well … the choice could only fall on the main element of most of our efforts and our work: the industrial robotic arm.
Of course, maybe it’s not really an everyday object; however, it certainly represents our true essence.
